Biography

Maddix is the project of Dutch producer Pablo Rindt, born December 3, 1990. He grew up playing djembe, piano and drums, got into electronic dance music and FL Studio in high school, and started releasing under the Maddix name in the late 2010s before crystallising his current core sound around 2018. The breakout was 2019's "Ecstasy" — the track widely credited as the start of the harder-hitting techno-rave direction he has been refining ever since, with hard techno kicks, acid-revival textures, and an organic evolution toward the trance/techno crossover that has defined the late-2010s and 2020s mainstage. His catalogue spans Hardwell's Revealed Recordings, Spinnin' Records, Armada Music, Rave Culture, Oliver Heldens' Heldeep, and Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike's Smash The House. The Revealed partnership has been the most consistent thread: high-profile collaborations include "Revolution" with Hardwell and Timmy Trumpet, the 2023 acid-techno single "ACID" with Hardwell featuring Luciana, the 4 Strings "Take Me Away" remix and its 2024 follow-up "Take Me Away Again", and the 2022 Hardwell / Blasterjaxx / Maddix collaboration "16". Solo singles "Heute Nacht" and "My Gasoline" extended the catalogue, and in 2023 he launched his own label Extatic (XTTC) in partnership with Revealed. By 2023 he was ranked #95 on DJ Mag's Top 100 DJs, #11 Most Played Producer on 1001Tracklists, and #7 Best Selling Techno Artist on Beatport. Within the trance landscape Maddix occupies the crossover edge — closer to techno and big-room than to ASOT-mainline trance, but the trance influence is explicit and is what makes his "Take Me Away" rework with Hardwell work the way it does. He is one of the names that explains how the trance / techno / tech-house mainstage convergence actually sounds in 2026.

Sound Style

Hard-hitting techno-rave with acid-revival textures and big-room drop architecture — high-energy, percussive, harmonically lean, and explicitly aimed at the converged modern festival mainstage between trance, techno, and tech-house.
