Nifra

Nifra started DJing in Slovakia in 2008, learning her trade alongside support slots for Armin van Buuren and Tiësto on their Central European tour stops. Within a few years she had moved from local talent to one of the most prominent figures in Markus Schulz's Coldharbour Recordings entourage, eventually being dubbed "the Queen of Coldharbour" through releases including "Dark Harbour", "Ransvik", "Athena", "Follow Me", and the 2019 anthem "The New Breed" with Fisherman. Her sound sits at the intersection of techno and trance — high-pressure, tension-driven, peak-time-engineered material with explosive builds and minimal patience for the soft melodic side of the genre. Productions consistently chart in the upper reaches of Beatport's trance and tech-trance lists, and her releases have been supported by Maddix, Hardwell, and Armin van Buuren among many others. In 2024 she released the full-length album Renegade, a record that consolidated her position as one of the genre's most consistent producer-DJs and which has continued to spin on ASOT, Coldharbour, and Group Therapy radio across 2024-2026. The recent collaboration "Unified" with Giuseppe Ottaviani has further extended her reach into the upper Armada / WAO138 ecosystem. Nifra is also a frequent presence on the Schulz Music Group management roster and is twice nominated for Best Female Trance Artist at the IDMAs. She represents Slovakia on a scale that matches what Mauro Picotto did for Italian trance in the 2000s — and as one of the most visible female DJ-producers on the current circuit, her continued prominence is a meaningful signal for the next generation of women coming up through the genre.
