Coldharbour Recordings

Coldharbour Recordings was founded in 2004 by Markus Schulz in Miami, where he had based himself after years of DJing US club nights. The label was set up as a curated platform for the kind of melodic-but-driving progressive and tech-trance Schulz played in his long-form residencies — Crobar New York, Spundae Los Angeles, and later his open-to-close sets at Avalon Hollywood. Coldharbour quickly established itself as one of the most respected boutique trance labels of the late 2000s and 2010s. Across nearly two decades, Coldharbour has released all of Markus Schulz's solo albums — Without You Near (2005), Progression (2007), Do You Dream? (2010), Scream and Scream 2, Watch the World (2016), and beyond — alongside extensive output from a deep roster including M.I.K.E. Push, Mike EFEX, Klauss Goulart, KhoMha, Grube & Hovsepian, and many others. The Coldharbour Sessions compilation series and Schulz's weekly Global DJ Broadcast radio show give the label a sustained editorial presence. Coldharbour remains a key institution for fans of progressive trance with substance and patience.
