Vandit Records

Vandit Records was founded in 1999 by Paul van Dyk in Berlin, named after a contraction of his own name and a play on the word "vandalize." The label's purpose was straightforward: a creative home for Paul's own productions and a curated platform for the trance artists he wanted to champion. From the start, Vandit positioned itself as an artist-run imprint with strong editorial discipline rather than a release-volume operation. Across two decades, Vandit has released the bulk of Paul van Dyk's catalogue — including the albums Reflections (2003), In Between (2007), Evolution (2012), and From Then On (2017) — alongside major solo singles like the iconic 2009 anniversary remix of "For an Angel." The label has also been an important platform for collaborators including Cosmic Gate, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Aly & Fila, Alex M.O.R.P.H., and Eskai. Its associated SHINE Ibiza event series and the Vandit Nights brand extended the label's reach into the festival circuit. Vandit remains one of the most respected artist-run trance labels still operating today.
