The Announcement
Armin van Buuren’s A State of Trance is coming to Los Angeles as a two-day festival: A State of Trance LA takes place on 11 and 12 June 2027. The official ASOT LA page says the festival is coming to Los Angeles “for the very first time”. The event is 18+.
Beatportal and We Rave You describe it as ASOT’s first two-day festival in the United States.
Venue & Stages
The venue is confirmed as ACE*MISSION Studios in Los Angeles. According to We Rave You, the festival runs three stages covering classic and uplifting trance, psytrance, and melodic techno, plus an indoor warehouse stage hosting the official afterparties — so fans can move from the main stages to late-night sets without leaving the venue.
Lineup and Tickets
The lineup has not been announced yet. We Rave You reports that presale opened Thursday 22 October at 10am PT, with general sale following at 11am PT the same day; the article does not give ticket tiers or prices. Weekend tickets, a VIP waiting list and a two-night hotel package are listed on the official ASOT LA page, and pre-registration remains open there for anyone who missed the initial sale window.
The ASOT Hotel Comes to LA
According to We Rave You, Armin plans to bring the A State of Trance Hotel to Los Angeles, with “pool parties, special events and pre-parties in the lobby” for hotel guests — the format ASOT already uses for its Rotterdam weekend.
ASOT in the US So Far
A State of Trance has played the US before, but as single-night shows. EDMTunes lists past ASOT events at Madison Square Garden in New York (2013), in Oakland (2019) and at Banc of California Stadium in Los Angeles (2022), along with long-running ASOT stages at Ultra Music Festival in Miami. A two-day festival is a step up from those one-night events.

A Listener’s Note
Listening to A State of Trance every week, it is good to see the show grow into a full festival in more parts of the world. I will add the lineup here when it is announced.
