The Night at a Glance
Paul van Dyk plays an open-to-close set at Melkweg (Rabo room, Lijnbaansgracht 234A, Amsterdam) on Saturday 24 October 2026 during Amsterdam Dance Event. The show starts at 18:00; the ADE programme lists it until 22:30. It is 18+.
Melkweg lists the event as sold out (regular ticket €39.50), so check the official resale options if you still want to go.
What Open-to-Close Means
An open-to-close set means Paul van Dyk plays the whole night himself, with no support acts. The press release describes it as an “immersive, all-night journey through sound” with “complete artistic control from start to finish”, moving from melodic material to peak-time moments.
Five Years at Melkweg
According to the press release, this is Paul van Dyk’s fifth consecutive ADE appearance at Melkweg, and each edition has sold out. In his words: “I’m incredibly excited to make my return to ADE this October at one of Amsterdam’s most iconic music venues.”
New Music
The set will include new and unreleased music, with previews from upcoming projects and fresh releases from the VANDIT Records label group (source: press release).
Same Day at ADE
Saturday 24 October is also the day of Luminosity’s ADE Rave and Infinity at Q Factory — see Luminosity at ADE 2026. For the full week, see our ADE 2026 Trance Guide.
A Listener’s Note
An open-to-close set is the best way to hear how a DJ builds a night, and Paul van Dyk has been doing this at Melkweg long enough that it has become an ADE tradition.
