Biography

Indira Paganotto is a Spanish DJ and producer born 30 May 1992 in Las Palmas, Canary Islands, and based in Madrid. Her musical lineage is direct: her father is a Spanish DJ who spent ten years playing Goa trance in India during the 1980s while working with Doctors Without Borders, and her childhood library was his collection of disco, jazz, acid house and Goa music. Her mother, Italian, preferred classical and opera — the contrast that became the formative musical environment. Initially she pushed back against her father's Goa records as "hippie dad" music and turned instead to Detroit techno and Chicago house, teaching herself to mix and produce in parallel. The catalogue's editorial breakthrough was the June 2022 launch of her own label, ARTCORE — an imprint built explicitly to host the psy-techno hybrid sound she had crystallised, on the basis that there was no existing psy-techno editorial home. Earlier in the trajectory she had released on Pan-Pot's Second State and Nina Kraviz's Trip Recordings, the labels that anchored her early international circulation. Her 2023 Tomorrowland mainstage debut was followed by a 2024 Tomorrowland mainstage return, the 2025 Tomorrowland Winter mainstage, a 2025 Hï Ibiza residency, an ARTCORE-curated Tomorrowland 2025 stage, and her 2025 Coachella debut in the Yuma tent — a touring profile that includes Awakenings, Amnesia Ibiza, Circoloco, EXIT Festival, Pacha Barcelona, Shelter Amsterdam, Fabric London, EDC Las Vegas, and Space Miami. Within the trance ecosystem Indira Paganotto sits at the psy-techno crossover edge — the lane where the Goa / psy lineage that runs through Astrix, Vini Vici and the Iboga Records family converges with the early-2020s hard-techno revival. ARTCORE operates as both an editorial home for her own releases and a curatorial platform for adjacent producers in the same crossover space, and she is one of the names — alongside Anyma's Afterlife direction and the wider Mind Against / Tale Of Us orbit — that explains how the converged festival mainstage of 2026 actually sounds.

Sound Style

Hard, fast, psychedelic-leaning techno — Goa-trance lineage in the harmonic content, hard-techno BPM in the rhythm section, and the kind of festival-mainstage drop architecture that the early-2020s techno revival has rewarded.
