Russian-Ukrainian vocalist with a long-running Armada and Black Hole catalogue — "Shine" with RAM & Talla 2XLC placed sixth in A State of Trance Tune of the Year 2021.
Natalie Gioia, born Natalia Sibekina, is a Russian-Ukrainian electronic music vocalist who has been active in trance since around 2009 after a background in pop and Italian-language repertoire. Her breakthrough came through the partnership with Alex M.O.R.P.H.: "Dreams" (2013) reached the Beatport Trance Top 5 and was included on Armin van Buuren's "Universal Religion Chapter 7", with the follow-up "The Reason" (2014) released on A State of Trance.
The subsequent decade saw her vocals featured across most major trance labels — Armada Music, Black Hole Recordings, Spinnin' Records, Suanda Music, Interplay Records, and Garuda — in collaboration with Bobina ("Addicted", 2015), Roger Shah, Eximinds, Rene Ablaze, Roman Messer, and others. The 2021 release "Shine" with RAM and Talla 2XLC reached number six in the A State of Trance Tune of the Year listener vote, one of the highest-ranking vocal-trance placements of that year.
Her catalogue continues into the mid-2020s, including "Viva L'Opera" with Armin van Buuren on the A State of Trance Ibiza 2024 compilation. Her Spotify monthly listener count of roughly 115K reflects a sustained, engaged audience that follows trance-vocal releases rather than crossover pop, placing her among the most consistently active female vocalists in the genre's 2010s–2020s catalogue.
Sound Style
Operatic-leaning vocal trance with a wide dynamic range — comfortable on both peak-time uplifting arrangements and the more melodic, mid-tempo Black Hole / Suanda end of the spectrum. Her catalogue prioritises hook-led songwriting over vocal acrobatics, which is part of why her records age well across the various trance sub-styles she has appeared on.
