Ruben de Ronde

Ruben de Ronde, born in Gouda in 1982, is one of the most reliable producers in the modern Armada Music ecosystem and a current co-host of A State of Trance alongside Armin van Buuren. He started releasing on Armada in 2007 and quickly became a fixture of the A State of Trance editorial direction — hosting the Statement! weekly slot on ASOT Radio that grew into his namesake sub-label and the parallel Statement! Recordings imprint that he runs as part of his Armada portfolio. His productions span pure peak-time uplifting, vocal-led tracks, and progressive-leaning remixes — a stylistic range that places him at the meeting point of Armin van Buuren's classic ASOT sound and the more progressive end of the modern Armada catalogue. Major releases include "Guitar Track" (2011), "Robot Dance" with Ben Gold (2013), the 2016 collaborative mix album Story of Two Friends with Rodg (which charted in the European dance-album top tens), "Aurora" (2019), and the 2021 Tinlicker "Soon You'll Be Gone" remix. His collaboration network spans Cosmic Gate, Andrew Rayel, Ben Gold, Rodg, and Standerwick, and the Statement!-branded compilation series has run for over a decade.
