Israeli producer from Tel Aviv (born 1983) who emerged via the DapAnji project and the Class A duo with Ghost Rider, later moving into progressive psytrance as a solo name.
Ranji is an Israeli psytrance producer from Tel Aviv, born in 1983. He first stirred global attention as part of the DapAnji project, whose debut album landed on Phantasm Records in 2009, and his profile grew further through Class A — the duo he formed with Ghost Rider that hit dance floors like a meteor in 2012. Across those two project identities he established himself within the late-2000s / early-2010s Israeli full-on circuit before eventually moving the solo Ranji name toward the more open-minded realm of progressive trance.
The solo catalogue is characterised by crazy breakdowns, dynamic take-offs, and vocal-rich arrangement — a production approach that has placed Ranji alongside the broader Iboga / HOMmega-adjacent progressive-psy circle. He has released and remixed across Iboga Records (including remix work on the Vini Vici & Liquid Soul "Universe Inside Me" co-remix with Ghost Rider), with additional placements through the wider Israeli psy label ecosystem. The Ranji project sits in the lane where modern progressive psytrance reaches its highest production polish, and the catalogue has continued to grow through the 2020s.
Within the trance landscape Ranji occupies the bridge zone between full-on energy and progressive structure — closer to the Iboga editorial line than to Astrix's harder festival full-on, but with more emotional payload than the typical 138 BPM Iboga floor track. He performs across the international psy festival circuit including Universo Paralello, Boom, Ozora, and the Love Explosion festival in Germany.
