HOMmega Productions

HOMmega Productions was founded in 1998 in Tel Aviv as the institutional home for the rapidly maturing Israeli psytrance scene. The label took shape during the period when Goa trance was transitioning into modern psytrance — Israeli producers including Astrix, Infected Mushroom, Astral Projection (already established), and the wider Tel Aviv production cohort were writing the next chapter of the genre, and HOMmega became the primary label home for that work. Across 25+ years, HOMmega has released the bulk of Astrix's catalogue, the foundational Infected Mushroom albums (Vicious Delicious 2007 and others), the Vini Vici back catalogue including the genre-crossing 2015 anthem "The Tribe" (released across HOMmega's wider distribution network), and a long arc of full-on, progressive-psy, and Goa-adjacent material from the Israeli scene. The HOMmega compilation series functions as the label's editorial document and remains one of the most cited running references for Israeli full-on. The label sits at the institutional centre of the global psytrance ecosystem alongside Iboga (Denmark), Nano (UK), and TIP (UK) as one of the genre's three or four most consequential homes.
