AVA Recordings was founded in 2007 by British DJ-producer Andy Moor as a creative home for his own productions and a curated platform for the progressive and uplifting trance artists in his orbit. Distributed through Armada, AVA sits in the artist-run wing of the Armada family — adjacent to Vandit and Flashover in spirit, with editorial discipline taking priority over release-volume. AVA's most-cited records came from Andy Moor's productive collaboration with Ashley Wallbridge across 2008–2012 — singles like "Faces," "Halcyon," "World to Turn," and "Trespass" defined a hybrid progressive-uplifting sound that influenced a generation of producers. The Andy Moor-mixed AVA compilation series ran through the late 2000s and early 2010s as a primary editorial document of the label. Beyond Andy's own work, AVA has released material from Adam White, Sied van Riel, Standerwick, and the broader Armada-adjacent uplifting circuit. The label remains active as a focused outlet for Andy Moor and selected peers, prizing patient long-form arrangement over festival-mainstage urgency.
