Biography

A.R.D.I. is the trance production alias of Adrian Wójcik, a Polish DJ and producer based in Lublin, Poland. He started on piano at age 8 and continued for roughly seven years before moving to software production in 2006 using Reason 4, with his first commercial trance releases following over the next several years and his catalogue ramping up across the mid-2010s. His releases run through the core modern uplifting label network: Aly & Fila's Future Sound of Egypt, the WAO138?! sub-imprint, John O'Callaghan's Subculture, Armin van Buuren's A State of Trance label, Damaged Records, and his own SirAdrianMusic. Editorial recognition has come on both major weekly shows — multiple Future Favorite wins on A State of Trance from Armin van Buuren, plus several Wonder of the Week placements on FSOE Radio from Aly & Fila — and the broader support network across the catalogue has included Daniel Kandi, Manuel Le Saux, Aly & Fila, Roger Shah and ReOrder. His 2015 vocal collaboration "These Words" with Cari is one of the catalogue's better-known crossover statements into vocal-uplifting territory. Within the broader scene A.R.D.I. sits in the classical / FSOE-aligned editorial direction of modern uplifting — peak-time melodic 138 BPM, vocal collaborations, the same lineage as Ferry Tayle, Driftmoon and the wider Polish uplifting cluster — distinct from the harder Kearnage / Outburst 140 lane and from the tech-uplifting Will Atkinson / Allen Watts wing.

Sound Style

Mid-tempo to peak-time uplifting in the FSOE / Subculture editorial register — patient four-on-the-floor, melodic breakdowns, occasional vocal collaborations, and the classical-leaning arrangement craft that places the catalogue inside the modern Pure Trance / 138 lane.
