KARNAGE Digital

KARNAGE Digital was launched in 2014 by Irish DJ-producer Bryan Kearney as a creative outlet for his own productions and a curated platform for the harder, more confrontational side of contemporary trance. Kearney had built his reputation through Subculture residency work and Discover-era releases; KARNAGE gave him a personal imprint to release material that didn't fit neatly into the Subculture or Discover editorial mould — typically harder, faster, and more sonically aggressive than the wider 138 BPM scene. The catalogue is built primarily around Kearney's solo singles and his collaborations with peers in the harder-trance space — Will Atkinson, John Askew, Sneijder, Steve Allen, and other 138+ BPM specialists. The KARNAGE Sessions compilation series and KARNAGE-branded events at venues across Ireland, the UK, and EU have built a dedicated audience among connoisseurs of harder modern trance. KARNAGE sits comfortably alongside Subculture, Outburst, and VII as part of the harder-trance institutional axis that has kept the modern peak-time tech-trance sound alive against commercial pressure to soften.
